Default duplex mode is
- For 10Mbps & 100Mbps port: half-duplex
- For 1Gbps port: Full-duplex
On a 100Mbps ports, if we configure full duplex on one-end and leave the other end as default, duplex mismatch happens & we can see large number of "Collision" by show interface.
